Confidence:

Storm Arwen will move south during Friday night and into Saturday morning with the main emphasis on strong winds and rain.

However, given the complex nature of this storm there is a chance of a wintry mix almost anywhere but particularly in central and eastern areas, although with the ground at this time of year still relatively warm and the freezing height at 400-500 any accumulations below 200 meters will be limited, possibly non existent. Areas above 200 meters could see 2-4cm with The Scottish Highlands and The Pennines seeing as much as 15cm or more locally above 400-500m however this is not highlighted on our graphic due to it being above the 250 meter threshold.

A few surprises possible.
