Wintry showers will start to move into Scotland and eastern coastal areas tonight and into Thursday. Accumulations are expected to be marginal for most but those with a little elevation and/or where where it becomes more organised could see 1-2cm. Obviously, those with elevation will fare better.
Streams of wintry showers could setup South of Belfast and Dublin. A little coverage possible over the hills.
We mentioned the risk of a low clipping the south a few days ago… some models are still flirting with the idea so it’s possible associated showers could effect the immediate south, particularly South West England. Exmoor and Dartmoor will fare well if this happens with a few centimeters perhaps. Elsewhere wintry showers are possible and we’re watching the situation closely. We may update later this evening.
